Copper Coast Geopark Ltd.
The Copper Coast Centre
The Copper Coast Geopark Centre is closed from end of September to the beginning of April, open by appointment or for various events.
When the Centre is open you are most welcome to come in to find information about the area and about walks and other activities.
In the Centre you can get something light to eat or drink. There is a small shop selling high quality local and Waterford food and craft products. And we have an exhibition all about the history of the area, much of it related to the copper-mining years around Bunmahon, but also about local artists and personalities and, of course about geology.
Green Mines - Atlanterra project
Atlanterra, fuelled by the Green Mines project experience (co-financed by the INTERREG IIIB "Espace Atlantique" program), aims for the preservation, the promotion and the transnational structuring of the mining patrimony in the "Espace Atlantique".
Metal Links Project
The Metal Links project is a partnership between former metal mining communities in Ireland and Wales who have come together to develop sustainable economic solutions for their areas.
